Job summary

PALFINGER is seeking a Field Service Technician to diagnose and repair articulating cranes, truck-mounted forklifts, conveyors, and related equipment at customer sites across the Pittsburgh area. You will perform preventive maintenance, DOT inspections, warranty services, and emergency repairs while ensuring safety and clear communication with fleet managers.

You must read, write, and speak English proficiently and bring your own tools, with PALFINGER providing proprietary tooling.

Qualifications

• Approximately 3 years of mechanical experience or training.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively.
• CDL holder or able to obtain within 60 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair articulating cranes, truck-mounted forklifts, conveyors, trucks, and trailers at customer sites.
• Perform quarterly preventive maintenance and Annual DOT inspections.
• Complete warranty services and emergency/unscheduled repairs during standard and off-hours.
