Job summary

Omni Glass & Paint LLC is seeking a Field Development Coordinator to support staffing and growth of the field painting team. You will work with leadership, project management, and HR to maintain staffing levels, train staff, and ensure safety and standards across shop and field operations.

You will develop training plans, track performance, and help advance career paths while coordinating equipment and resources for field projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent – Required.
• Must have a valid driver's license – Required.
• Must be able to work independently and as a team – Required.
• Ability to work professionally with others – Required.
• Able to follow instructions – Required.
• Flexibility to work hours needed – Required.
• Past construction experience – Preferred.
• Experience leading others – Preferred.
• Experience with hand and power tools – Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Employee development and retention for the paint field.
• Field resource scheduling and communication of assignments.
• Set up new field employees for training and job shadowing.
• Develop 30/60/90/180/365 goals and metrics with the team.
• Ensure field employees have proper training and certifications.
• Track skills of field employees and support growth plans.
• Assist with career path development for field employees.
• Promote safety and uphold standards across field and shop.
• Oversee attendance and attitude of shop and field staff.
• Conduct regular check-ins to build relationships with field staff.
• Provide documentation for coaching and annual performance reviews.
• Identify painters nearing retirement and coordinate knowledge transfer.
• Assist Shop Manager with general shop duties.
• Manage shop equipment, inventory, and supplies.
• Schedule driver trips and ensure load security.
• Coordinate equipment needs with project managers.
• Order and track rental equipment for field operations.
• Represent Omni values and standards; uphold safety.
