Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group is seeking a Resident Engineer to deploy the product at Customer R&D sites, facilitate acceptance activities, and interact with Customer and suppliers during product integration. You will analyze requirements with the customer, configure test cars and ECUs with approved SW/HW, support integration tests and defect tracking, and perform joint tests to evaluate progress.

BCM development experience and travel to Canada and Mexico may be required.

Responsibilities

• The Resident Engineer is responsible to deploy the product in the Customer R&D sites, facilitating Customer acceptance activities, and interacting with both Customer and other Customer suppliers during their product integration phase.
• Provide to the Customer information about all the system functions and about the release timing of the software versions and about project deadlines
• Analysis of requirements and specifications with the customer
• Ensure the correct configuration of the test cars and test benches, with all the different ECUs up to date with the approved Customer SW / HW
• Support the Customer on integration tests of the different control units and support the Customer in the result analysis and in the defect tracking
• Perform joint tests with the Customer to evaluate the development status of the system
• Ensure a first level analysis for all defects/parts coming from internal (Product Validation, Plant services) and external customers
• Analyze defects seen on customer R&D sites
• Be the R&D referent for residents in Customer plants, and ensure the proper spread of information
• In addition to below standard requirements, the engineer should have:
• BCM development Experience resident, system, SW or validation
• Capability to travel to Canada and Mexico as soon as it is requested/needed without any delay.
