Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in a similar role with dental equipment.
• Experience with dental chairs, compressors, vacuum systems, sterilizers, imaging equipment, and digital radiography.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, service manuals, and technical documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; good communication with customers.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, and commission dental equipment across multiple offices.
• Perform preventive maintenance to maximize performance and minimize downtime.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and software issues.
• Repair equipment promptly with minimal disruption to patient care.
• Calibrate equipment per manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain service logs and repair documentation; coordinate warranty repairs.
• Traverse between dental offices in the Austin market; travel required.
• Train clinical staff on equipment operation and basic troubleshooting.
• Ensure OSHA, infection control, radiation safety compliance.
