Job summary

ID Plans is seeking a self-directed field data collector who travels to commercial properties to record precise measurements and asset locations. You’ll use 3D cameras and laser tools, work largely solo, and rely on technology to document building features while staying organized and proactive in scheduling and access coordination.

The role emphasizes autonomy, outdoor work in all weather, and travel Monday–Friday with weekends at home.

Qualifications

• Travel out of state Monday–Friday with home most weekends.
• Own reliable vehicle capable of carrying a 6-foot ladder.
• Work outdoors in all weather, climb ladders up to 30 feet, lift up to 50 lbs.
• Use iPads, laptops and mobile apps to document data accurately.
• Be structured, autonomous and proactive in communication with the team.

Responsibilities

• You’ll independently drive or fly to commercial properties to capture precise data.
• Document building measurements, sprinkler/HVAC locations, windows and landscaping, meters and parking details.
• Input data with high accuracy and coordinate access with property managers.
• Communicate with Regional Manager and trainers as needed, mostly remote and concise.
