Job summary

Citylogix is seeking a Data Collection Technician to support multi-modal field data collection for city infrastructure projects. You will operate a LiDAR-equipped vehicle, ride survey e-scooters, and walk to capture sidewalk and curb ramp data, ensuring complete, well-documented field records.

Responsibilities include daily data transfer, strict adherence to proprietary procedures, and collaboration with office-based Processing, AI, and GIS teams. Travel and long shifts are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform all three collection modes (vehicle, scooter, on-foot) daily.
• Strong attention to detail and strict adherence to procedures.
• Ability to work independently on long shifts in field conditions.
• Comfort with computers, mobile apps, and structured data entry.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving in dynamic field environments.
• Reliable and able to travel for weeks at a time.

Responsibilities

• Operate LiDAR-equipped collection vehicle on roadway projects.
• Ride e-scooters to collect video and geospatial data.
• Walk to measure curb ramps and sidewalk conditions.
• Handle daily equipment setup, mounting, and transport.
• Transfer data daily following verification procedures.
• Coordinate with field leads to keep projects on track.
• Meet delivery and quality targets on every project.
