Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Field CTO specializing in Data Governance and Master Data Management to help shape trusted enterprise data strategies for strategic customers. You will engage with CIOs, CDOs, and enterprise architects to define data architectures and governance models in an AI-driven world.

You will lead executive briefings, workshops, and high-value engagements, mentor field colleagues, and collaborate with Salesforce and partner teams to align data programs with product and engineering

Qualifications

• Significant experience in enterprise data architecture, Data Governance, MDM, Data Quality, metadata, or closely related disciplines.
• Deep understanding of enterprise MDM patterns across domains (customer, product, supplier, location, reference).
• Experience designing data architectures in large, complex enterprises across cloud and on-prem environments.
• Ability to advise senior executives while retaining credibility with deeply technical audiences.
• Strong executive communication, storytelling, facilitation, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted technology advisor to strategic customers on Data Governance, MDM, Data Quality, Metadata Management, and enterprise data architecture.
• Engage with CIOs, CDOs, CTOs, and Enterprise Architects to define data strategies aligned to business and technology objectives.
• Help customers establish governance architectures balancing standards with decentralized units and multi-cloud estates.
• Advise on MDM strategy including domain modeling, identity resolution, survivorship, and data stewardship.
• Connect traditional data management with AI/agents, including trusted context, metadata, lineage and policy enforcement.
• Develop architectural viewpoints for customers operating across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
• Lead executive briefings, architecture workshops, and high-value customer engagements.
• Partner with Salesforce, Informatica, MuleSoft to influence roadmap based on customer needs.
