Job summary

ASM Global in New Orleans is seeking a Field Crew Supervisor in the Engineering and Operations department to lead on-site setup and operations for major venues, including Caesars Superdome and Smoothie King Center.

You will supervise field crew members, coordinate furniture and stage installations, ensure safety and inventory control, and support events from prep to post-event wrap-up. Strong leadership and hands-on mechanical know-how are essential.

Qualifications

• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Knowledge of mechanical functions necessary.
• Previous facility operations experience preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of the Superdome layout, capabilities, and limitations.
• Knowledge of equipment inventory (tables, chairs, staging, etc).
• Ability to interpret written instructions for events.
• Ability to communicate with Event Coordinator and follow written/verbal instructions.
• Physical ability to operate equipment and provide manual assistance as needed.
• Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assign duties related to facility setup per lease requirements.
• Perform general physical labor—setting up chairs/tables, staging, painting, etc.
• Repair/maintain equipment and machinery.
• Determine efficient labor utilization for tasks.
• Work during events and respond to changes as needed.
• Provide support before, during, and after events.
• Maintain organization of warehouse and inventories.
• Oversee day-to-day work of Field Crewmen and ensure completion.
• Oversee conversions for all buildings.
• Other duties as assigned.
