Job summary

NV5 is seeking a Field Crew Chief to support the Survey group. The Field Crew Chief is responsible for having working knowledge and experience to perform surveys such as Construction Layout Survey, ALTA/ASCM Survey, Boundary Survey, As-Built Survey, Control Survey, Right-of-Way Survey, Specific Purpose Survey, Topographic Survey, and FDOT Survey.

Qualifications include a minimum of four years of relevant experience, and the ability to pass a mandatory DMV check with knowledge of Florida Minimum

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years relevant field surveying experience.
• Must pass mandatory DMV check.
• Knowledge of Florida Minimum Technical Standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform Construction Layout Survey with precision.
• Conduct ALTA/ASCM Survey as required.
• Execute Boundary Survey per project specifications.
• Carry out As-Built Survey for record documentation.
• Perform Control Survey to establish horizontal/vertical control.
• Complete Right-of-Way Survey for alignment and legal areas.
• Undertake Specific Purpose Survey when needed.
• Carry out Topographic Survey for terrain mapping.
• Complete FDOT Survey as required by the client.
