Job summary

Lanco is seeking skilled Crane Field Technicians to join our team in the Arlington area. You will maintain and repair complex crane and heavy equipment with minimal supervision, ensuring safety and reliability across company-owned and customer equipment.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems, documenting service activities, training junior technicians, and demonstrating equipment to customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of troubleshooting, repair and maintenance experience with Grove and Manitowoc cranes.
• GMK training.
• Willingness to travel with some overnights.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on company owned and customer’s equipment with a high degree of independent judgment.
• Providing service documentation.
• Training of lower level technicians.
• Demonstrating equipment for customer use.
• Use schematics and diagrams to provide repairs on AT Crane.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations, policies and procedures for a goal of zero incidents and injuries.
• Communicate consistently on all activities to appropriate individuals (internal & external).
• Maintain ongoing communication and adhere to all companywide policies to reduce liability.
• Participates in special projects or other duties as assigned.
• Maintain and repair Rough Terrain Cranes.
• Maintain and repair Crawler Cranes.
• Provide certified crane inspections.
