Job summary

Konecranes in Middletown, OH is seeking a Service Technician to inspect, maintain, and repair electric overhead cranes and hoists at customer sites. You will work in a safety-first environment, handle on-call rotations, and travel to varied locations to support client operations.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree in a related field, at least 1 year of electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair experience, and a willingness to work off the ground.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a related Industrial/Electrical/Mechanical/Tech field or equivalent training.
• Minimum 1 year electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair experience.
• Prior crane experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair electric overhead cranes and hoists at customer sites; be on-call as needed.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, structural, and electronic faults and perform repairs.
• Document findings and provide safety notifications as needed.
• Advise customers on repairs and quotations.
• Generate service reports and ensure safety features are functional.
• Maintain vehicle and tools and adhere to safety rules.
• Participate in monthly safety meetings.
