MGX Equipment Services is seeking a Field Crane Technician to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain mobile cranes and boom trucks from the Bloomington, MN branch. The role reports to the Service Manager and includes a $4,500 sign-on bonus and tool reimbursement up to $1,500 per year.
Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and a mechanical background with the ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics. Travel up to 50% may be required.
MGX Field Crane Technicians are responsible for the inspection, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of various crane equipment including mobile cranes and boom trucks. This position will report to the Bloomington, MN branch for MGX Equipment Services and reports to the Service Manager.
This is a full-time position with 1st shift hours. Overtime and weekend work may be possible based on business conditions. This position will be required to work in an environment with exposure to elements such as extreme temperatures and various weather conditions, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors and/or loud noises. While performing the duties of this job, the employees is occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. There is frequent lifting and/or moving of up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
This position offers a pay range between $35.00 - $49.78 per hour depending on skills and qualifications. Pay is provided on a bi-weekly basis and there are 14 days in the pay period, beginning on a Monday and ending on a Sunday.
“This is a union-represented position with Operating Engineers Local No. 49. Compensation and working conditions are defined by the Collective Bargaining Agreement, including structured wage rates.
