Strict safety protocols and extensive reporting are essential. Initial screening includes a Bachelor's degree or an Associate's with two years of relevant experience, with progression through Specialist levels

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with relevant protective services experience.
• Two years of relevant work experience required with Associate's degree or 60 credit hours.
• Senior criteria allow progression up to Specialist IV in DFPS.

Responsibilities

• Respond to crisis situations involving children to assess safety.
• Interview families, caregivers, and professionals involved in cases.
• Document case details and complete required forms in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with agencies and community partners to ensure child safety.
