Job summary

Artisan Design Group (ADG), a Lowe’s company, seeks a Drafting Field Technician (Templater) to measure residential sites and capture precise project details for countertop fabrication and installation. You will work in the field, communicating with customers, contractors, and sales teams.

The role requires 1 year CAD experience, strong math skills, and the ability to travel between jobsites. Training is provided, with Monday–Friday first shift and local travel expectations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of CAD or drafting experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Strong math and measurement skills including fractions, decimals and percentages.

Responsibilities

• Travel to residential jobsites and take accurate countertop measurements.
• Template countertops per company standards and document job details.
• Identify conditions or issues affecting fabrication, cost, or schedule.
• Communicate jobsite details and changes to sales and operations teams.
• Assist fabrication or shop activities as needed and ensure safety policies.
