Job summary

Buckeye Partners is seeking a Technician II, Corrosion Control with basic experience in pipeline, terminal or plant operations to join our team in the US. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing corrosion control equipment and performing surveys to support the corrosion control program.

The position requires a two-year technical degree (or equivalent), 3+ years of corrosion control experience preferred, and AMPP certifications. Up to 75% travel and field work are expected.

Qualifications

• Two-year associate’s degree in a technical field or the equivalent combination of education/work experience.
• Requires strong mechanical aptitude and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, schedule, and perform testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of corrosion control systems.
• Oversee projects in the assigned area including estimating costs, scheduling activities, and coordinating contractors.
• Create and maintain corrosion control records and analyze survey data for reviews.
• Provide technical support to operations and maintenance teams and participate in RCA investigations.
