Job summary

The Corrosion Technician at Nexus Integrity Management, LLC will monitor, inspect, and maintain cathodic protection systems to protect pipelines, tanks, and other infrastructure from corrosion. You will perform field inspections, collect data, run tests, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities include documenting results, recommending corrective actions, and supporting corrosion control programs while coordinating with engineers and field crews.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associated degree or cert preferred.
• NACE CP1/CP2/CIP certification is highly desirable.
• 2+ years in corrosion prevention or cathodic protection.
• Ability to read technical drawings and maps.
• Proficiency with corrosion testing equipment and data logging.

Responsibilities

• Install, monitor, and maintain cathodic protection systems.
• Conduct pipeline and facility inspections for corrosion signs.
• Perform CIS, DCVG surveys and other tests.
• Record and analyze corrosion data, prepare reports.
• Assist in corrosion control programs and chemical monitoring.
• Calibrate and maintain monitoring equipment.
• Ensure compliance with codes (NACE, DOT, API).
• Support integrity management and risk assessment.
• Collaborate with engineers, field personnel, and contractors.
