Advanced Infrastructure Design, Inc. (AID) is seeking a Drill Coring Technician to operate coring drills and collect core samples for engineering projects. You will follow safety protocols, locate sampling points, and maintain equipment in diverse field conditions.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in core drilling, construction, or a related field preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret maps, directions, project specifications, and construction plans.
• Physically able to lift, move, bend, climb, and work in various outdoor conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform concrete, asphalt, or soil coring using handheld and rig-mounted equipment.
• Follow job specifications and safety protocols at all times.
• Accurately measure and mark coring locations according to project requirements.
• Collect, label, and store core samples for testing and documentation.
• Transport and set up drilling equipment at job sites.
• Conduct basic maintenance and troubleshooting of coring equipment.
• Complete daily field reports and submit documentation in a timely manner.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and field staff.
