Job summary

FlexTG is seeking an entry-level Service Technician to support Boston-area customers. You will perform maintenance and repair of office equipment, troubleshoot issues, and promote customer satisfaction while supporting sales efforts.

The role emphasizes hands-on problem solving, mobility to travel to client sites, and a path to career growth within a brand-neutral MSP. Training is provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Mechanical and electrical aptitude required.
• Knowledge of basic networking preferred.
• 1–2 years of related experience is a plus; training available.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills needed.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds; valid driver's license with reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Service printer/copier products with minimal assistance.
• Troubleshoot basic printing issues, identify printer vs. network problems.
• Install scanning and equipment in a peer-to-peer environment.
• Manage inventory to company specifications.
• Maintain vehicle, toolkit and supplies.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with customers and employees.
• Provide sales support by advising about problems or leads.
• Maintain professional appearance and promote brand image.
• Maximize equipment uptime through timely repair.
• Engage customers to ensure satisfaction.
