Job summary

Turner & Townsend seeks a Field Coordinator to support large-scale industrial construction projects in Spring, TX. You will report to the Site Lead/Senior Project Manager and drive planning, coordination, and execution on-site.

The ideal candidate brings 3–5 years of relevant experience, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with Procore and MS Office tools. This role requires a full-time onsite presence and collaboration with architects, engineers, and suppliers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Procore and construction project management tools.
  • Industrial background preferred.
  • Safety oriented.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate planning, coordination and execution of projects from initiation through completion.
  • Coordinate subcontractors for Lab equipment reception and reconnects.
  • Assist Site Lead in delivering project scope, schedule and objectives.
  • Develop, maintain and track project schedules with milestones and lookaheads.
  • Monitor progress, identify risks or delays, and elevate issues with mitigation actions.
  • Prepare and deliver regular project status reports (progress, risks, upcoming activities).
  • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to align on project activities.
  • Facilitate daily coordination meetings and weekly reviews, track actions to closure.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, logs, and communications records.
  • Maintain on-site presence to monitor field progress and execution of work.
  • Manage stakeholders including architects, engineers, and supply chain.
  • Analyze, track and manage critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slips.
  • Ensure proper project governance and application of best practices.
  • Produce formal project status reports and other required reports.
  • Monitor multiple projects to ensure adherence to approved design standards.
  • Manage interface between all suppliers via monthly trackers and weekly reviews.
  • Provide technical support to owners, architects, general contractors and regional stakeholders.
  • Respond rapidly to RFIs from the field.
  • Offer cost control, value engineering and constructability guidance.
  • Independent review of reports, drawings, timelines and costs.
  • Assist in developing client relationships to maximize opportunities.

Turner & Townsend seeks a FieldCoordinator to support large-scale construction projects and will report directly to the Site Lead / Senior Project Manager. The ideal candidate will be driven to provide our clients with excellent service.

*5 days a week onsite in Spring, TX required*

Responsibilities:

  • Support planning, coordination, and execution of projects from initiation through completion
  • Responsible for coordinating subcontractors receiving and reconnecting Lab equipment.
  • Assist the Site Lead in delivering project scope, schedule, and objectives
  • Develop, maintain, and track project schedules, including key milestones and short-term lookaheads
  • Monitor progress against plan, identify risks or delays, and elevate issues with mitigation actions
  • Prepare and deliver regular project status reports (progress, risks, upcoming activities)
  • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on project activities
  • Facilitate project meetings (daily coordination, weekly reviews) and track action items to closure
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, logs, and communication records
  • Maintain a consistent on-site presence to monitor field progress, sequencing, and execution of work.
  • Manage stakeholders including architects, engineers, and supply chain to deliver compliant projects.
  • Can analyze, track, and effectively manage critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slip.
  • Verify that effective project governance, processes and systems are utilized
  • Ensure application of best practice on all projects
  • Production of formal project status reports and other reports as required
  • Monitor the progress of multiple construction projects simultaneously to ensure that the approved design standards are being applied correctly
  • Manage the interface between all suppliers through monthly trackers and weekly reviews
  • Manage the flow of project information between the project team through regular meetings and written communications
  • Forecast and update key project milestones
  • Manage and monitor local design teams in accordance with commission criteria
  • Provide technical support to owners, architects, general contractors and regional stakeholders
  • Rapid response to RFIs from the field
  • Provide expertise for cost control, value engineering, and constructability guidance where required
  • Independent review of status reports, drawing submittals, timelines and costs from architects, contractors and suppliers
  • Client management – assist in developing excellent working relationships with Clients, with a view towards maximizing new opportunities
  • Strategic Thinking - provide advice to project teams on approaches that can be adopted to successfully achieve both clients’ objectives and business objectives
  • Knowledge management – ensure that key information and learnings generated from each project is captured
  • Process improvement – Identify ways to improve internal systems and processes
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or field related to construction.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Strong organizational and management skills – ability to work effectively and collaboratively with the broader team
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Procore, and construction project management tools
  • Industrial background preferred.
  • Safety oriented.
