Job summary

Turner & Townsend in the United States seeks an experienced Project Manager to support large-scale industrial construction projects. The ideal candidate will coordinate stakeholders, track milestones, and ensure compliance with design standards.

You will manage interfaces among architects, engineers, contractors, and suppliers, produce status reports, monitor budgets, and apply best practices. On-site presence is required and you will work with regional teams to deliver value-driven outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field.
• Strong organizational and management skills; ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Procore and PM tools.

Job Description

Turner & Townsendseeksan experiencedProject Managertosupport large-scale industrial construction projects. The ideal project manager will be driven toprovide our clients with excellent service.

Responsibilities:

• Managestakeholdersincluding architects,engineers,and supplychainsto deliver compliantprojects.
• Cananalyze,track,and effectively manage critical milestone activities to avoid scheduleslips.
• Verify that effective project governance,processes,and systems areutilized.
• Ensure application of best practice on all projects.
• Production of formal project status reports and other reports asrequired
• Monitor the progress of multiple construction projects simultaneously to ensure that the approved design standards areappliedcorrectly.
• Manage the interface between all suppliers through monthly trackers and weekly reviews
• Manage the flow of project information between the project team through regular meetings and written communications.
• Forecast and update key project milestonesand budget.
• Manage andmonitorlocal design teamsin accordance withcommission criteria
• Provide technical support to owners, architects, generalcontractorsand regional stakeholders
• Rapid response to RFIs from the field
• Provideexpertisefor cost control, value engineering, and constructability guidance whererequired
• Independent review of status reports, drawing submittals,timelines,and costs from architects,contractorsand suppliers.
• Client management –assistin developing excellent working relationships with Clients, with a view towards maximizing new opportunities.
• Strategic Thinking -providesadvice to project teams on approaches that can be adopted to successfully achieve both clients’objectivesand businessobjectives.
• Knowledge management – ensure that key information and learnings generated from each projectarecaptured.
• Process improvement – Identify ways to improve internal systems and processes
• SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management,architecture,engineeringor field related to construction.
• Strong organizational and management skills – ability to work effectively and collaboratively with the broader team
• Proficiencyin Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Procore, and construction project management tools
• Strong communicationskills.
