Job summary
Quality Conveyor Solutions (QCS) is seeking experienced Field Splice Technicians for travel-intensive work across field environments. You will perform vulcanized and mechanical splicing, operate vulcanizing presses and splicing tools, and provide on-site support while maintaining safety and quality.
You will travel frequently (50%+), handle lifting, and contribute to installation, maintenance, and repair tasks for varied conveyor systems.
Qualifications
- 2–3+ years of conveyor belt splicing/vulcanizing experience.
- Strong knowledge of conveyor systems, belt tracking, and material handling equipment.
- Experience in field service, maintenance, or industrial repair work.
Responsibilities
- Perform vulcanized and mechanical conveyor belt splicing in field environments.
- Set up and operate vulcanizing presses, splicing tools, and conveyor maintenance equipment.
- Prepare belts using finger, step, and lap splicing techniques across a range of widths.
- Execute conveyor belt installation, repair, and preventative maintenance.
- Safely isolate and prepare conveyor systems for service.
- Complete job documentation (time sheets, service reports, expenses).
- Provide on-site technical support and customer service.
