Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a Heavy Industrial Conveyor Belt Technician to support field installation, repair, and maintenance of heavy conveyor belt systems and related mechanical components in Tooele, UT. The role involves frequent field work and collaboration with team members at client sites.

The ideal candidate will have field experience in construction/mining environments, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to read blueprints.

Qualifications

• Field experience in construction/mining environments is required.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals.
• Must be able to lift heavy materials and work outdoors.
• Willingness to travel and work overtime.
• Pre-employment drug and background screening.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain heavy industrial conveyor belts and associated mechanical systems.
• Perform vulcanizing, cold bond, lap, finger, and steel cable splices with precision.
• Conduct pulley lagging to ensure optimal belt performance and longevity.
• Inspect belts for wear, damage, and misalignment and recommend repairs.
