Job summary

Madden Industrial Craftsmen Inc. is seeking a Heavy Industrial Conveyor Belt Technician for our client in Apache Junction, AZ. This field-based role supports installation, repair, and maintenance of heavy conveyor belt systems and related mechanical components.

You will work in a 24/7 facility context where most tasks occur in the field, with relocation assistance available for qualified candidates. The role requires experience with splicing, pulley lagging, belt inspection, and mechanical

Qualifications

• Proven field experience in construction, mining, or heavy industry.
• Mechanical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot conveyor systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals.
• Willingness to travel, work overtime, and work in outdoor industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain heavy industrial conveyor belts and related mechanical systems.
• Perform vulcanizing, cold bond, lap, finger, and steel cable splices with precision.
• Conduct pulley lagging to optimize belt performance and longevity.
• Inspect belts for wear, damage, and misalignment; recommend repairs.
• Operate and maintain splicing, vulcanizing, and lagging equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform preventative maintenance.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
