Johnson Controls is seeking a Controls Systems Technician to perform field-based commissioning, troubleshooting, and calibration of HVAC controls. You will load system-level controller software, run diagnostics, and ensure installations meet safety and performance standards.

Qualifications

• Able to use hand and power tools for installation and calibration.

• Solid understanding of HVAC mechanical, electrical, and controls systems.
• Ability to use basic electronic test equipment for calibration and diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Perform system commissioning using Johnson Controls tooling and load controller software.
• Diagnose and resolve basic HVAC electrical and controls issues on site.
• Assist with warranty calls and customer service during commissioning.
• Document commissioning results, timesheets, and as-built updates.
• Calibrate systems using basic electronic test equipment; ensure safety compliance.
• Communicate progress and findings to customers, management, and contractors.
• Identify practical improvements and provide recommendations to improve efficiency.
