Control Panels USA is hiring a Field Controls Technician in Irving, TX. This role involves commissioning hardware at customer sites, which includes wiring, instrument configurations, and troubleshooting. Candidates should have strong communication skills and comfort with various tools and instrumentation. Essential travel may be required around Central Texas. Qualifications
Experience in the theory, application and calibration of flow, pressure, level, and temperature instrumentation.
Ability for overnight travel approximately 25% of the time.
Must be able to work at elevated heights.
Responsibilities
Complete commissioning of hardware at customer sites.
Review assigned scope of work with project manager.
Generate service tickets and daily reports.
Skills
Great communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to multi-task and prioritize
Intermediate computer skills
Ability to pass CP USA’s Basic Electrical and Controls Theory
Operational knowledge of multimeter functions
Troubleshooting complex relay logic
Wiring and troubleshooting 4-20 mA analog control systems
Experience with PLC software
Familiarity with wastewater treatment controls
Familiarity with antenna mast rigging principles
