Alliance Group Services, LLC is a New England-based HVAC and building automation contractor seeking a field-based Controls Technician to install, repair, troubleshoot, and commission building automation systems at commercial and institutional facilities near West Lebanon, NH.

The role offers a company vehicle for experienced technicians, manufacturer training on Honeywell/Johnson Controls/Schneider Electric platforms, and opportunities for certifications.

Competenze

• At least two years of experience in building automation, HVAC controls, or closely related controls technologies.
• Working knowledge of electrical controls, troubleshooting, and building automation communications, with the ability to work independently.
• Strong customer communication, organization, and documentation skills.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds and safely navigate ladders, stairs, scaffolding, and jobsites.
• Valid, unrestricted driver's license; authorization to work in the U.S.; ability to satisfy required background, motor vehicle, and post-offer physical screenings.

• Position Type: Full-Time, Field-Based | Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., with some scheduling flexibility
• Reports To: Project Manager – Building Automation
• Compensation: $30–$40 per hour; up to $45 per hour for exceptionally qualified candidates, plus potential annual discretionary profit-sharing bonus

Alliance Group Services provides HVAC, mechanical contracting, energy management, and building automation solutions throughout New England. Its Building Automation team works with technologies including Honeywell, Johnson Controls, and Schneider Electric.

Role Overview

This field-based technician will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and commission building automation systems at commercial and institutional facilities, generally within an hour of West Lebanon. The role offers independent troubleshooting, customer interaction, and opportunities for manufacturer-specific training. Experienced technicians receive a company vehicle, including fuel and maintenance.

Honeywell controls experience is especially valuable. Candidates with comparable building automation experience and strong technical fundamentals are also encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

Required

• At least two years of experience in building automation, HVAC controls, or closely related controls technologies.
• Working knowledge of electrical controls, troubleshooting, and building automation communications, with the ability to work independently.

Preferred

• Hands-on Honeywell experience, or experience with Johnson Controls, Schneider Electric, or comparable platforms.
• Additional HVAC/electrical experience, controls programming or commissioning experience, and manufacturer certifications.
