WSP in Overland Park, KS is seeking a Lead Field Control Specialist to lead commissioning, startup, and outage support across utilities, hospitals, and industrial facilities.

You will act as the technical authority for PLC- and DCS-based systems (Rockwell, AVEVA, DeltaV, ABB), lead instrumentation verification, and coordinate with operations, vendors, and WSP teams. Travel to sites is required. This role also emphasizes safety and quality deliverables within project constraints.

Formación

• 10+ years in field controls, commissioning or industrial power plant operations.
• Experience with instrumentation installation, loop checks and calibration in live plants.
• Knowledge of boiler or power plant control systems and combustion testing.
• Willingness to travel to project sites and maintain safety compliance.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and execute field control system commissioning, startup, troubleshooting, and outage support for diverse facilities.
• Serve as field technical authority for PLC- and DCS-based systems including Rockwell ControlLogix, AVEVA and DCS platforms.
• Lead instrumentation installation verification, loop checks, calibration, and testing for commissioning.
• Produce commissioning reports and deliverables meeting project standards.
