Job summary

Is-International-Services seeks an experienced ICS/IT-OT engineer to commission and optimize instrumentation, control systems, and industrial networks at power generation facilities in North America. You will deploy and validate Windows/Linux servers, VMware infrastructure, and network components while collaborating with customers during outages and modernization projects.

The role requires hands-on testing, scripting, and field deployments with frequent travel.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Experience with DCS and industrial control systems in power generation environments.
Strong IT/OT integration and server administration skills (Windows/Linux).
Willingness to travel 50%–80% will be required.

Responsibilities

Commission, test, and optimize I&C systems and control networks.
Build, deploy, and manage industrial IT/OT infrastructure bridging enterprise IT with field components.
Analyze system behavior, perform validation tests, and implement patches or scripts; support customer acceptance testing.
Travel to power plants, utility sites, or client facilities for installation, maintenance, testing, and handovers.
