Job summary

Clark Construction Group, LLC is seeking a Technology Solutions Engineer to join our team. You will collaborate with project managers and superintendents, gaining hands-on experience in overall project oversight on active construction sites.

The role requires an engineering background, strong communication, and ability to coordinate with owners, design teams and subcontractors. Travel or relocation may be required as projects span multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a similar technical field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated, problem-solver with strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Monitor subcontractors’ performance with emphasis on quality of work and safety.
• Develop an understanding of acceptable quality across trades.
• Read and interpret bid documents and information.
• Understand standard specification sections and identify ambiguities.
• Solicit subcontractor bids and provide preliminary evaluations.
• Maintain Record Documents and contract drawings/specifications.
• Set up submittal and RFI logs and track submission dates.
• Review shop drawings and submittals for conformance and coordination.
• Administer subcontracts; read/understand scope, schedule, and quality terms.
• Track change orders and prepare CO proposals.
• Prepare correspondence with clear, concise writing.
• Assist in project close-out as directed.
