Job summary

Brayman Construction Corporation is seeking motivated Field Construction Technicians to support our heavy civil and geotechnical project teams. This field‑based role requires a safety‑minded, detail‑oriented individual who enjoys outdoor work and learning how complex projects are built.

An engineering degree is not required. You’ll work with Superintendents, Project Managers, and field crews to track production, maintain records, support quality, and promote safe work practices across multiple

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Ability to work safely on active construction sites.
• Willingness to travel.
• Technical-school or community-college graduates encouraged to apply.
• Experience in construction, surveying, inspection, materials testing, utilities or related fields is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Observe and document daily construction activities.
• Track labor, equipment, materials, quantities, and production.
• Prepare daily reports, progress photos, and field documentation.
• Measure completed work and maintain as-built records.
• Review plans and specifications with the project team.
• Assist with quality‑control documentation and testing.
• Track material deliveries and usage.
• Document time‑and‑materials and any extra work.
• Communicate field conditions and project issues to supervision.
• Support Superintendents and Project Managers with day‑to‑day needs.
• Participate in pre‑task planning, job hazard analysis, safety meetings, and field inspections.
• Identify unsafe conditions and reinforce Brayman’s safety standards.
