Job summary

Brayman Construction Corporation is seeking motivated Field Construction Technicians to support our heavy civil and geotechnical project teams. This is a field-based role where you will work outdoors, track production, and help maintain project records.

An engineering degree is not required, and you will collaborate with Superintendents and Project Managers on safety and quality. You’ll learn through hands-on tasks, gain experience with construction drawings, quantity tracking, and field

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Willingness to travel and work safely on active construction sites.
• Ability to use basic math for measurements and material tracking.
• Comfortable with computers, tablets, and smartphones.

Responsibilities

• Observe and document daily construction activities.
• Track labor, equipment, materials, quantities, and production.
• Prepare daily reports, progress photos, and field documentation.
• Measure completed work and maintain as-built records.
• Review plans and specifications with the project team.
• Assist with quality-control documentation and testing.
• Track material deliveries and usage.
• Support field supervision with day-to-day project needs.
• Participate in safety meetings and field inspections.
