Job summary

Gulf Coast Utility Contractors is seeking a skilled Crew Foreman to lead field operations for water, sewer, and storm drainage projects in Bay County, FL and surrounding areas. The role requires coordinating labor, materials, and equipment to meet schedules and budgets.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years as a foreman/superintendent, strong safety focus, and holds OSHA 30 and MOT certifications or can obtain them quickly. Expect 50+ hour weeks with outdoor work in varying conditions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years verifiable experience as a foreman/superintendent.
• Experience in underground utility installation (water, sewer, and storm drain) and site work.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (3+ years).
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Willingness to work 50+ hours per week, including Saturdays.
• Advanced MOT Certification required or to be obtained.
• OSHA 30 hour training mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Supervise job site field operations including daily production, costs, safety, organization, labor and equipment scheduling and management.
• Track quantities and coordinate with Project Manager to stay on schedule and within budget.
• Develop a look-ahead schedule for crews, equipment and material.
• Ensure health and safety plans are implemented and safety meetings are conducted.
• Coordinate with crews, general contractors, supervisors and city inspectors.
