Independence Construction, LLC in Columbus, OH is seeking a diligent Superintendent to lead day-to-day field operations. You will establish staffing, coordinate subcontractors, review schedules with PMs, and enforce safety programs on site.

The role requires 5+ years in construction management with at least 3 years as an assistant superintendent on commercial projects, plus strong communication and problem-solving skills. We offer weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in construction management with at least 3 years as an assistant superintendent on commercial projects.
• Ability to handle confidential company issues with discretion.
• Strong written and oral communication across all levels.
• Proficient in MS Office and CM software (Procore, Primavera P6).

Responsabilités

• Establish and manage field staffing and support.
• Oversee day-to-day site activities and operations.
• Prepare and update project schedules with subcontractors and project managers.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and laborers to meet schedules.
• Develop Site Specific Safety Plans with Safety Manager and review monthly.
• Inspect work for compliance with project specifications.
