Job summary

Thompson Construction Inc. in Tulsa, Oklahoma, is hiring a Superintendent to lead day-to-day field operations on active construction projects, ensuring safety, schedule, and quality.

You will coordinate subcontractors, inspect sites, and work with the Project Manager to resolve field issues and keep projects on track. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of supervision in commercial construction, strong leadership, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent leadership experience considered.
• 5+ years supervising commercial construction projects.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and managing field operations.
• Must have valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and work on active job sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily field operations for assigned construction projects.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and productive jobsite following OSHA standards.
• Coordinate subcontractors, field personnel, inspections, and deliveries.
• Review drawings, specifications, and schedules to plan work and resolve conflicts.
• Monitor progress and coordinate trades to meet milestones and schedules.
• Communicate with the Project Manager on progress, site conditions, and issues.
