Job summary

SEH, an employee-owned engineering firm, is hiring a Construction Representative to join our Construction Services team in Rochester, MN. You will monitor activities on transportation, civil, and municipal projects, document field work, and support meetings and change orders.

Travel to project sites will be required as part of the role. The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED and prior construction experience, with familiarity in AutoCAD, MicroStation, and BlueBeam.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous construction field experience preferred.
• Ability to work in varied weather and rough terrain.

Responsibilities

• Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with plans and specs.
• Document daily field and inspection activities including sampling and testing.
• Assist with preconstruction meetings, progress updates, and change orders.
• Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and SEH team members.
• Assist in proposals, budgeting, and constructability reviews.
