Kokosing Construction Company, Inc. seeks a Safety Specialist to provide field support and assist managers, supervisors, and crews in implementing company safety and health policies.

This role emphasizes regulatory compliance, incident prevention, training, and continuous improvement at projects across Central Ohio. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Safety and Health or equivalent, with 3–6+ years of safety experience in construction.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor degree in Safety and Health or equivalent.
• Targeting 3–6+ years of safety experience in construction preferred.
• Experience with heavy civil/industrial projects is a strong plus.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate, implement and monitor the Company Safety and Health Program at various project locations in the Central Ohio region and surrounding areas.
• Develop and implement strategies for reducing injuries and incidents while meeting business unit targets.
• Provide training and education on safety and health requirements to Company personnel.
