Job summary

Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts seeks a Construction Management Engineer/Engineering Associate II/III for field-based oversight of sewer, landfill and treatment plant projects serving millions of residents.

You will spend substantial time at active construction sites—observing work, resolving issues, negotiating change orders, tracking progress, and coordinating with contractors, inspectors and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree(s) required or in progress with related certs.
• PE license preferred for Engineer level or eligibility for licensure.
• Strong written communication and project management skills required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction activities at sites and ensure safety and quality.
• Investigate and resolve construction and engineering problems.
• Review and negotiate contractor change orders and pay estimates.
