Job summary

EnTech Engineering, PC invites a seasoned Field Construction Manager to join our Paterson, NJ project team on-site. In this role you will supervise daily field operations for a large public school construction project, coordinating with the Project Manager, Assistant PM and MEP Manager to ensure safe, on-schedule delivery.

You will read and interpret construction drawings, manage field documentation, attend meetings, and communicate progress to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of construction inspection and/or construction management experience.
• Experience on K-12 school, educational, or public building projects in New Jersey.
• Must reside in New Jersey.
• Experience with New Jersey school construction projects is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field construction activities to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with project requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders to resolve field issues.
• Monitor construction progress, quality, and compliance with plans and specifications.
• Review contractor schedules, maintain project documentation, and prepare field reports.
• Attend project meetings and provide updates on construction progress.
• Support overall project delivery through effective field coordination and construction management.

About the Role:

Seeking an experienced Field Construction Manager to serve as the on-site field supervisor for a large public school construction project in Paterson, NJ. The successful candidate will work closely with the project team, consisting of a Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager, and MEP Manager, to oversee daily construction operations and ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily field construction activities to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with project requirements.

Qualifications:

• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites throughout New Jersey.
• Must reside in New Jersey.
• Experience with New Jersey school construction projects is required.

$120,000–$150,000 annually
