Ledcor is seeking an experienced and dedicated Field Construction Manager to oversee our daily field operations. This key role ensures project delivery on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will execute project plans and schedules, maintain site safety and quality control, and manage field staff, contractors, and tradespeople. The position requires the ability to travel up to 100% of the time.

Essential Responsibilities:

1. Ensure projects adhere to approved plans, specifications, shop drawings, and building codes.
2. Oversee quality testing and ensure conformance with the Project Quality Plan (PQP).
3. Maintain site safety in accordance with corporate safety manuals and regulations.
4. Lead project safety meetings and contribute to developing the Project Specific Safety Program (PSSP).
5. Monitor construction schedules to meet milestones and deadlines.
6. Estimate durations and materials for multi-discipline activities.
7. Direct field staff and coordinate resources to achieve project goals.
8. Supervise craft employees and subcontractors regarding safety, schedule, and quality.
9. Prepare purchase requisitions and review invoices from subcontractors and suppliers.

Qualifications:

1. 2 to 5 years of construction experience in supervisory roles such as foreman or lead hand.
2. Two-year college, trade, or technical diploma (preferred).
3. Knowledge of current construction practices, documentation, costs, and budgets.
4. Ability to plan and manage project schedules, developing solutions within guidelines.
5. Effective communication skills for collaborating with multiple stakeholders and managing diverse teams.
6. Strong organizational and planning abilities.

Working Conditions:

1. Must meet physical requirements including sitting, standing, bending, climbing, lifting (up to 50 pounds), and working at heights in various weather conditions.
2. This is a site-based role requiring 100% travel.
