Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Denver, CO seeks a Construction Management Intern for Summer 2027 to support Owner's Representative activities on roadway projects, including paving, bridges, guard rails, and signals. This on-site role provides hands-on field QA and contract administration experience.

You will observe contractor work, document progress, and coordinate with field leads and project managers. Safety discipline and a path to professional growth are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Must have completed 60 hours towards a civil engineering or construction management degree from an ABET accredited program by the start of the internship (Summer 2027).
• Ability to work outdoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Act as Owner's Representative for roadway-related projects (paving, bridges, signals).
• Observe contractor work and perform quality assurance activities.
• Record and document construction activities per contract requirements.
• Coordinate with field lead and project manager on tasks.
• Participate in internal quality control checks and review designs/drawings.
• Follow all safety protocols while onsite.
