AtkinsRéalis in Denver, CO is seeking a Structural Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 to support report preparation, data gathering, and the development of engineering drawings under supervision. You will assist senior engineers, participate in construction reviews, and gain hands-on experience through mentorship, project exposure, and a pathway to future opportunities.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing Civil Engineering with 60 hours completed by Summer 2027 (ABET-accredited program).
• Structures focus preferred.
• Must have a valid US driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Prepare material for reports and permit applications.
• Prepare assigned sections of reports under supervision.
• Collect and analyze data using established procedures.
• Assist Senior Engineers in planning, design, and production of engineering drawings.
• Review shop drawings for conformance with specifications; observe construction procedures and collect samples for QC.
• Develop engineering calculations under supervision of senior structural engineers.
• Provide administrative and operations support.
