Job summary

Happy Hearts Fund (Now All Hands and Hearts - Smart Response) seeks a Field Support role to assist the field team with planning, on-site coordination, safety, and documentation on construction sites. The position emphasizes hands-on construction knowledge and leadership readiness in disaster recovery projects.

You will work with the Site Supervisor, help train volunteers, track progress, and ensure compliance with safety standards while gradually taking on more responsibility.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Related Experience: 2+ months of volunteer and 1+ month Team Leader and/or Site Manager All Hands and Hearts experience.
• Special Competencies/Certification: Proficient with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office; well organized and able to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support the Field team in planning the workflow on construction sites and day-to-day coordination.
• Assist on-site tracking and documentation, including site diaries, logs, and records of work and materials.
• Track construction progress and communicate delays or needs to the Site Supervisor.
• Hold daily on-site meetings with safety briefings and work division.
• Provide training and direction to volunteers and groups on work scopes.
• Oversee tasks with guidance from the Site Supervisor and coordinate safety procedures.
