Job summary

The Vortex Companies, LLC is seeking a reliable Construction Laborer to support field job sites with hands-on, outdoor work. You will participate in sewer maintenance, inspection and rehabilitation tasks while handling equipment and materials.

A strong work ethic and willingness to learn are essential as is following directions from supervision. The role is full-time, non-exempt, with flexible hours including some overtime.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in physical labor and outdoor construction preferred.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Ability to follow instructions and on-the-job training.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
• DOT pre-employment drug test and license checks may apply.

Responsibilities

• Support sewer maintenance, inspection and rehabilitation tasks.
• Operate and maintain site equipment.
• Load, unload and move materials and equipment.
• Work in extreme weather conditions and outdoors.
• Obey supervision and work as part of a team.
