Job summary

Whitaker Construction is seeking a Construction Laborer to perform general site duties on projects across Utah. You will assist with cleaning sites, loading materials, digging trenches, and supporting heavy civil and utility work under our Natural Gas division.

Applicants must be at least 18, able to operate safely around equipment, and capable of working long hours on day or night shifts. A valid U.S. driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; relevant credentials help.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Willingness to learn and take direction.
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license.
• Ability to work safely around heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare construction sites by clearing obstacles and hazards.
• Load and unload materials, pipes, and equipment.
• Use layout and measurement tools safely and accurately.
• Dig trenches and prepare ground for pipes and utilities.
• Work around heavy equipment and follow safety policies.
• Move between jobs as projects progress.
