Nielson Construction, a CRH Company, is hiring for a full-time General Laborer/Production Worker to support highway, utility, grade, and plant operations in Utah. The role involves manual labor, operating equipment as trained, and following supervisor guidance to ensure safe, efficient site work.

Qualifications emphasize a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and reliability. Prior construction experience is a plus, with emphasis on teamwork and safety awareness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Current and valid driver’s license required.
• Experience in construction is a plus.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and perform basic math.
• Ability to work with others safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ground surfaces and remove debris for road work.
• Operate ground compactors and level dirt for paving.
• Set up fencing, barricades, and safety cones to secure work areas.
• Shovel and trench to install pipes for utilities and drainage.
• Operate or assist with equipment as trained (paver, roller, backhoe).
• Support multiple labor tasks including cutting concrete or asphalt and general site cleanup.
