Job summary

Superior Construction is seeking skilled laborers for heavy civil, roadway, and bridge projects in the United States. The role involves working from heights and supporting on-site safety, environmental protection, and construction activities.

Essential duties include hard manual labor, site maintenance, tool/storage discipline, and assisting foremen. The position may require traffic control tasks, long hours, and exposure to outdoor conditions.

Qualifications

• Must adhere to OSHA safety protocol, and work in a drug‑free environment.
• Must be reliable/have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor in heavy/highway construction projects.
• Maintains a clean and well-organized job site: properly store consumable materials, picks up debris and waste for proper disposal, maintains equipment appearance and secures/stores small tools and supplies.
• Road widening, highway, road/street or bridge build and rehabilitation projects.
• Helping Foremen and other Supervisors as needed.
• Laborers may be required to assist with traffic control and/or flagging operations.
• Properly secure and store all tools, equipment, and materials at the end of each work day
• Frequent use of air tools, electric tools ex: jack hammers, electric chipping hammers
