Qualifications

One to two years of experience in construction inspection or related internship.
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
Valid driver’s license and ability to work on active construction sites.
Safety training such as Work Zone Safety, OSHA 10‑Hour, or Confined Space training preferred.
NECEPT Field Technician Certification or equivalent preferred.
Strong communication, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

Serve as the engineer’s on‑site liaison with contractors, project managers, and clients.
Support construction inspection activities to verify work complies with plans and specs.
Attend and support pre‑construction meetings and document follow‑up actions.
Observe testing, startups, and construction activities; document field conditions and progress.
Maintain organized project records, reports, drawings, and daily logs.
Assist with payment applications, substantial completion inspections, and closeout documents.
