Job summary

Cherokee Nation Government Solutions (CNGS, LLC) seeks a Construction Inspector to support Malmstrom AFB. The role focuses on field inspections, conformance to plans and codes, and coordinating with project teams to document and resolve issues.

The successful candidate will hold a SECRET clearance, have related technical education, and at least one year of construction inspection experience, with strong communication skills and safety awareness.

Qualifications

• SECRET Clearance
• Associate degree or technical certification in construction management or related field
• Minimum of one year of experience in construction inspection or related field
• Knowledge of construction inspection practices and safety procedures
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specs
• Ability to maintain organized inspection records and reports
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with standard office productivity tools and project-tracking systems

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of construction, renovation, and infrastructure projects at Malmstrom AFB and surrounding missile field.
• Review activities for conformance with plans, specs, and codes; identify deficiencies.
• Inspect electrical, mechanical, structural, architectural and civil elements as assigned.
• Interpret drawings and specifications to verify construction requirements.
• Document findings in inspection reports and photographs; support timely resolutions.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to clarify requirements.
