Job summary

Primera Engineers is seeking an inspector to support construction projects across Chicago. You will document daily inspection activities, assess conformance to contracts, and coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure quality execution.

The role suits a candidate with strong communication and organizational skills, able to manage daily reports and photo documentation, and proficient with Microsoft Office 365.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; two years of college preferred.
• IDOT Documentation of Contract Quantities certification preferred but not required.
• Experience ranging from entry level to several years in construction.
• Ability to interface and collaborate with clients, stakeholders and colleagues.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office 365.

Responsibilities

• Support construction projects throughout Chicagoland with city agencies.
• Prepare daily summary reports of inspection activities.
• Examine workmanship for conformity to contract documents.
• Interface with clients, consultants, subconsultants, and vendors.
• Build strong relationships and focus on superior client service.
