Job summary

Primera Engineers is seeking a Civil Engineering professional with 2–3 years of construction experience or 3–4 years in field civil construction, especially utilities. Knowledge of IDOT procedures and the IDOT Documentation of Contract Quantities certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or construction management with 2–3 years of construction experience.
• Or 3–4 years of field civil construction experience in utilities.
• Familiarity with IDOT procedures and possession of IDOT Documentation of Contract Quantities certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist on construction projects and provide inspection for various projects.
• Maintain project documentation including calculations, daily reports, and filing.
• Work under a Lead Engineer and apply standard techniques under supervision.
• Interface with clients, consultants, subconsultants, and vendors to build relationships.
